Christ College of Trans-Himalayan Wisdom

About Christ College

Fundraising

It is our belief that the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom should be made available to all people, independent of their financial status. We count on the generous voluntary donations of our students and supporters so that our programs can continue to expand and reach more individuals and groups.

We wish to thank the many donors who have contributed to our work and made it possible for us to purchase the 155 acre property on which Christ College is sited. Donations have also built the Meditation Temple and created the forestry project that will provide a future stream of money.

Our current project is student accommodation (estimated cost: $800,000 NZD). Once completed it will house twenty students and four tutors. The success of this project will allow the five-year residential program to begin.

With your support we can continue contributing to the expansion of human consciousness at this time of planetary crisis and expectancy. Our work is not endowed and we, therefore, depend upon your generous support.

Christ College of Trans-Himalayan Wisdom is a Charitable Trust. Donations and bequests are partially or wholly deductible under New Zealand law. For information on how to arrange a donation or bequest, please Contact Us.

Projects

The Meditation Temple was inaugurated in June 2003 and Long Bay House has been renovated and refurbished as a self-contained teaching space.

Plans for the next stage of building are underway. Fundraising continues with the plan for the project to generate enough money to release the current mortgage and loan to continue with the building and development at the site.

The School’s architect is drawing up design concepts for the main buildings of the school. This will include classrooms, student housing and administration buildings.

Current Projects

Accommodation for Students and Staff

We are at the preliminary stage of a major new building project. An architectural design has been created for student accommodation for the school. This first accommodation block will house twenty students and four faculty members.

Initially, this accommodation my also be rented to workshop students or those doing retreats at Christ College. They will provide an income which can be used to fund the program of the school.

The initial estimate of cost is $800,000 NZD. If you would like to help with this project, please Contact Us.

Landscaping

Megan Wraight, a well known landscape architect from Wellington, has drawn up concept designs for landscaping around the temple, existing buildings and future Christ College buildings. Planting began in October 2004. This is an ongoing project that will continue over the next five to ten years.

Future Projects

Creating larger permanent workshop and teaching spaces
Creating kitchen and office spaces
Continuing with the landscaping and forestry projects
